This is the second required course for becoming a licensed real estate professional in Alberta. It equips learners with the knowledge and skills necessary to work as a Residential Real Estate professional in the province.

The Residential Real Estate course is the second step toward becoming a licensed real estate professional in Alberta. It provides learners with the essential knowledge and skills needed to practice in the Residential Real Estate sector.

Completion of the Fundamentals of Real Estate course is a prerequisite for enrolling in this course. You can access the Fundamentals course [HERE].

This fully online course features self-paced study materials, engaging video training, and practice quizzes to help reinforce your understanding of key concepts in each unit.

Learners are given two attempts to pass the RECA licensing exam, with a minimum passing score of 70%. After completing the Fundamentals course, students can choose one of the Practice areas—Residential, Commercial, Rural, or Property Management—as their second required course toward licensing.

Additionally, students receive access to premium exam preparation tools, including extra practice questions, summarized study notes, and mock exams to help them feel confident and well-prepared for the RECA exam.

Note: Registration with RECA is required for this course.
